After working mainly in IT support for many years I've focused on expanding my web development skills, completing a Certificate 4 in Web Development in 2024. Working on freelance websites projects is something for many years and study a course on Python would now I'd like to make it the focus of my career.
Work experience includes freelancing on a number of websites using the Wordpress CMS doing web design and development. This involved setting up custom themes and plug-ins, doing updates and maintenance on the front and back end, as well as SEO for the websites. My goal is to attain a role as a python web developer and be able to work remotely from home. With skills in all areas including front and back end web development, I'm looking to build on this and expand and learn new technologies.
Learning new skills is something I'm passionate about. I worked with Python during the Certificate 4 web development course and Django and other modern web development frameworks are something I'm eager to get more experience with.
